Rescuing Our Companion Animals (R.O.C.A)

Please help ROCA (Rescuing Our Companion Animals) raise funds to build a shelter. Our mission is to, within our means, rescue animals who have been abandoned or are suffering due to lack of care from their owner.  My name is Dannii. I have always been an animal lover. I have volunteered for various rescue’s, helped clean kennels and organised fundraisers. I receive so many message’s from people asking me to help find a home for their friend’s dog or cousin’s cat and I find myself ringing every organisation I can to place these animals somewhere. These organisations are always busy and always at their limit and it makes sense because with the amount of breeding and irresponsible pet ownership tolerated and that continues there will always be the need for rehoming pets. It has always been my passion to help animals but of course it was never a way to make a good living. With small donations from lots of people it can all add up. I have decided to fullfill my mission and desire to start my own rescue and I dare to dream of one day having a shelter for them when I am stuck with no foster carers and my house is too full. I will have somewhere safe for them to go so I don’t have to turn so many away and I can sleep peacefully at night knowing that just a few more are safe. I want to help them find their ‘better day’ and let them keep it for a lifetime.
