My 1 and half year old Labrador x Kelpie Clancy is becoming more and more aggressive towards other dogs. He has been a great dog with other dogs till probably September last year. He has been to puppy school and was very well socialised with other dogs at dog parks. Since then though I can’t trust him off the leash. He will go for other dogs and I am worried one day he will hurt one. The issue has gotten worse since my parents have moved in with their dog Sandy. Sandy is a kelpie x red heeler and has a beautiful manner, but Clancy has grown up with her since he was a puppy and now is very protective of her. He has even gone for a mans hand when he went to pat Clancy when Sandy was next to him. Another problem of Clancys is pulling on the leash. He is a big dog now and has become pretty strong especially when my mum tries to walk him. When Clancy is home he is a loving dog and is a great companion, I just want him to go back to the way he was so we can take him down the beach again in the mornings and not have to be worried everytime we walk him. When my boyfriend, Alan walks him he is pretty good he says and we are wondering maybe he is now protecting myself and my mum.
