Meet the Team

JASMINE – Director of LLP

Jasmine Director and founder of LLP is a Qualified Dog Trainer with Gentle Dog Trainers Association (GDTA) of Australia 2012. Wife to Richard, Mother to Harrison(4) and Nikita(2).  Proudly owned by Ally (11) Cavoodle, Ernie(5) Bernese Mountain Dog, Angel & Jasper (10 & 9) yr old cats. Late Bert was the inspiration for Loose Lead Pets and is the reason we are here today!

After moving to Australia from New Zealand, whilst working in the hospitality industry, she began furthering her interest and love of dogs into a career by completing her dog trainer qualifications with the GDTA at Kintala Club. Loose Lead Pets became a dream that she decided to turn into reality.

We only endorse positive reinforcement methods, as extensive research has proven that this is the only successful way forward in dog training and fostering rewarding relationships between animals and their humans. This is the core belief and principle of Loose Lead Pets.

Kath has had the pleasure of working with animals for 16 years now starting her passion at the age of 14 as an animal attendant at Lort Smith for 6 years. Having run her own business, she knows the in’s and outs of pet care. Kath has had a few years off whilst she has been busily raising her own family. She is owned by her boys, partner in crime Todd and her two little ones Zaine and Tate.  Of course, she has a furry family, Scruffy the terrier x and Gizmo pug x.

George gave up his career in advertising to become a stay at home dad and now joining the LLP as a dog walker. He is a passionate dog lover and Richmond Tigers supporter. George has 2 kids, Zoe and Jack and a wife Anne. George and Anne adopted Lewis, their white terrier cross, when he was only 4 years old from Lort Smith Animal Hospital. George walks Lewis twice a day and gives him plenty of cuddles and believes that’s why he’s still going strong at 17 years of age.  He looks forward to meeting your pets!

Proud mother of two beautiful dogs  Zeus and Lexi amongst various other pets such as guinea pigs, cats, birds and ferrets! Christine has an affinity for animals, and feels a connection with every single one she comes across. She also loves to stay active, playing soccer and going on runs, which is why she was thrilled to start work with

Loose Leads Pets as it combines the two together!

Passionate about customer service, Christine loves to help in any way she can, to ensure that owner and pup are happy and well looked after.

She can’t wait to meet you and your furry babies

Tom is a passionate, young animal lover who is enthusiastic about giving every pet the best of care. He has always loved caring for animals, from volunteering at a wildlife sanctuary when he was 12 to caring for an 8-foot python as a young adult.
He loves all animals but dogs have always had a special place in his heart.
Before joining LLP, Tom often looked after dogs of local friends, with long walks, teaching them tricks and pet-sitting when their guardians were away. When not with a dog he spends time studying dog behaviour, driving his desire to work in pet care. In the future, he hopes to become a certified positive-reinforcement based dog trainer.
Tom lives for giving all animals the best opportunities to live the happiest lives and he can’t wait to help make your pet’s day.
